About

Dr. Alesha Baker is an Associate Professor in the Educational Leadership Department. Her work centers on faculty development, online and innovative teaching, open educational resources, and the integration of emerging technologies, including AI, in higher education. Dr. Baker has published and presented on topics such as teaching effectiveness, OER, technology integration, and professional learning, and she brings years of experience supporting both student success and faculty growth. She has also led numerous professional development initiatives and interdisciplinary collaborations across the university. As CFSA Director, Dr. Baker is committed to building meaningful opportunities for connection, practical support, and professional advancement for faculty at every career stage.

Dr. Muhammad "Asif" is an Associate Professor of Business and Management at NSU’s College of Business and Technology. He has published over 40 papers in top journals, including Technological Forecasting and Social Change and California Management Review, focusing on technology, social change, and business excellence. A passionate educator, Dr. Asif enhances student learning through innovative teaching and regularly contributes to faculty development. In 2025, he aims to lead initiatives on teaching excellence and professional growth.

About

Dr. Sara Haas is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling. Her work centers on the development of practitioners, the role of the therapeutic and teaching relationship, and the use of play therapy and expressive modalities in counseling. She has led numerous professional development trainings and is passionate about supporting faculty in creating meaningful connections with students, scaffolding instruction, and fostering confidence and success throughout their faculty journey.
